March 2011- IRS to Examine Rental Losses More Closely
Lorraine has her own accounting practice and has worked in the Sacramento and Elk Grove area for the past several years. She provides tax, consulting, and business valuation services to a variety of clients in various industries throughout California. She specializes in closely held businesses operating as partnerships, LLC’s, and corporations. Lorraine also works in the estate and trust area and provides tax preparation and planning services for her high net worth individuals.
Lorraine is a member of the California Society of CPAs. Lorraine has written articles on taxation topics for the AICPA’s The Tax Adviser. She served on the AICPA’s Individual Income Taxation Technical Resource Panel for five years, serving as chair for two years. Lorraine is a native of Southern California. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the California State University at Long Beach and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Lorraine moved to Elk Grove fifteen years ago with her two sons, Cory and Kyle. In her spare time Lorraine loves to garden and is an avid golfer.
